An exhibition of sixty black and white and color photographs, most of which are unpublished, produced by Éric Lefeuvre, photographer, author and journalist.

For more than thirty years, he never stopped photographing this statesman who is today one of the favorite political figures of the French. Thirty years of rubbing shoulders with, accompanying, observing but above all spying on this extraordinary character with his “Leicas”, as secret and mysterious as he is endearing but above all deeply human. Through photographs of Jacques Chirac, scenes of life and portraits of those he met during his travels, this exhibition allows us to approach as closely as possible this authentic thirst for discovery of Man and cultures which animated throughout his life Jacques Chirac, a true citizen of the world.

Some people think that Jacques Chirac would have made an excellent anthropologist, no doubt, but what Éric Lefeuvre is certain today is that he could have been a great photographer and that on certain official trips he would certainly have sometimes preferred to be in its place !
